January 2012 - Alan Thomas, Jr. has joined Data Networks Corporation (DNC) as the Vice President of DoD and Intelligence Programs. Alan is responsible for leading this business segment to include strategic planning, program execution, increasing DNC’s market share, and customer satisfaction. Alan has an 18 year record of successfully managing and building businesses as well as successfully innovating and delivering programs to Federal Government customers. Alan was previously responsible for a portfolio of programs while working for the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (Intelligence). Prior to working for DoD, he was the Defense and Intelligence Business Unit Leader for Compusearch Software Systems, a Management Consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton, a National Account Executive for FreeMarkets (now Ariba), and a Presidential Management Fellow. Alan has an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University, an MPA from the University of Texas, a BA from Grinnell College, and is DAWIA Level II certified.
